Blackhead Mountain Publishers is a small, privately owned publishing company. It was established in September 2009 and is owned independently by Waltraud Maassmann.

Let me introduce to you, Waltraud Maassmann.  To most people she is known as ‘Wally Maassmann’, a nick-name she  acquired when she first came to America, because her first name was rather difficult to pronounce.
At Blackhead Mountain Lodge and Country Club, her primary business in the Catskill Mountains of New York State, she is known to most, simply as ‘Mrs. M.’

Her passion has been her family and her resort, but now she full-filled another dream…..to write the story of her life. The title of her book is ‘A Path of Pebbles: My Road to Life in America.’

She wrote this very personal book for her children and grandchildren, but has been encouraged by family and friends to share it with the public. It is a wonderful, heart-warming story. It is certain to entertain young and old alike.
